The general internal network security posture is in fact significantly compromised the longer we remain in a dual-stack (IPv6/IPv4) environment. On my real OS, I use vlc 2.1.3 and that's working with the default "0" as well. I do not believe , It is just like that . Definetely I'm not making things up It is just like that by me. Jul 26, 2019 · Not sure where exactly this address is coming from. Believe that it is localhost IPv6 address, but don't know why it's there. If I attempt to nslookup for anything with fe80::1 address, I'm getting server not found message. When I disable IPv6 on clients, the IPv6 address goes away from DNS Server configuration and everything works perfectly again.
